Our Founders
Zach and Elvin have always loved a good spread sandwich. What they didn’t love was everything that came with it.What should have been quick and satisfying often turned into a small mess. Spreads clumped instead of gliding. Bread tore. Lids got sticky. Knives piled up. And the more flavors they wanted to enjoy, the more clutter and cleanup followed.
It didn’t make sense. If spreads were meant for everyday use, why were they so inconvenient to use every day?
That frustration turned into curiosity—and eventually, obsession. Zach and Elvin began questioning not just what was inside spreads, but how they were designed to be used.
After countless late nights, failed prototypes, and more sandwiches than they care to admit, one idea became clear: better spreads needed better design.
